Löhsten was a branch of Döbrichau in the 16th century. The town hall bordered with the Annaburger Heide and the villages Döbrichau, Züllsdorf and Gernewitz. ġ550 lived here 15 possessed men, 13 of them were responsible for the Office Lochau (Lochau was later renamed Annaburg). Until 1659 the place belonged to the Saxon office Annaburg, until 1815 to the office Schweinitz. ![]() ![]() Earlier spelling of the place was Loeßen (1550) and Löhsen (1659).
